Site & Utility, LLC delivered the full site package for Leonardo Helicopters’ $65 million aftermarket support facility on a 15-acre site at Whiting Aviation Park — clearing and grading the parcel, installing the underground utility infrastructure, and placing all paving and site concrete serving the facility.
The site sits immediately adjacent to Naval Air Station Whiting Field, on county-owned industrial land operating under a first-of-its-kind access agreement that gives park tenants use of the Navy’s 6,000-foot runway and air traffic control. The facility houses four hangar bays, component repair and overhaul, transmission testing, a full-sized paint booth and a parts warehouse supporting the Navy’s TH-73A training fleet and civil operators across the Southeast. It opened in September 2025.
