Site & Utility, LLC delivered the site package for Escambia County’s first Wawa, a 6,119 SF store at the corner of Beulah Road and West Nine Mile Road, built on a previously undeveloped 17.36-acre parcel across Nine Mile from Publix. County plans were approved in October 2023.
The store opened in December 2024 as the chain’s first in Escambia County, part of a Panhandle expansion in which Wawa invests over $7.5 million per store and plans 20–25 locations over the next eight to ten years.
